In Malaysia, education about standards is spearheaded by the Department of Standards Malaysia as one of the means of increasing the usage of standards. The young generation is targeted with the aim of equipping future generations/leaders with knowledge of standards & conformance to influence the development of quality products & services and to promote quality enculturation. Three main categories of targeted groups are school students, college/university students and young professionals.
